My New Favorite Place

I found a new place to lay that I like whole lot and it is in the computer room. Monday night Prince Frostin cam in and saw me laying back in the corner on the bottom bunk, and he told Monika, who then told Bob. They both gave me pets and told me it was OK for me to be there, so I staid until Monika went to watch TV, then I left with her. Then yesterday, when Bob came home from wok, I was already in there, so he gave me my treats there.

My Box of Life

I would start by putting Monika in because she took me in and gave me a forever home even though she and Bob already had 4 kitties. 2. I would put Frostin in because he was the first of the kitties here to tr to be nice to me. 4. I would put our patio in. It is the only place whee I feel comfortable being with all the other kitties. 5. I would put the laser light and yarn toys because they are my favorite toys. 6. I would put the cubies in because they are my safe place. 7. I would my blanket at the bottom of the bed because that is my favorite place to sleep at night.

Snarling For Attention

I like attentions, but I prefer to get them on my terms. Even then I tend to snarl a lot.

More on Raphina

Bob asked Monika's Mom if we spelled Raffinas' name right and she informed him that it is Raphina, so he went back and fixed it under her picture. They tried mating her with the male rag doll that the woman they got her from brought over, but she would have nothing to do with him, so they are going to fix her now.

Hiding

Bob and Monika moved everything out of the living room so that Monika could vacuum and shampoo the rug. I don't like the noises those rug sucking monsters make, so I found where they put my favorite hiding place and I'm not leaving until I'm sure they are done.

Girl Kitty Cousins

This s my cousin Mindy. She is a love bug, aways looking for attention.

This is cousin Raphina. She is a pure rag doll and she has bit of the attitude to prove it. She is also the only one of Monika's parents kitties that is not fixed as they hope to mate her.

This is Robin. She is hiding under the bed because she is very shy.

Shy Princess

Hi Everyone,

I'm Princess Ashlyn and I am very shy so I don't play alot, but I wanted to be in a video too, so I asked Bob to film me getting pets, and then asked Princess Boots if I could post it here.

The end of the video is King Obsidian playing with the feather. Bob forgot to edit it off.

Getting Braver, But Not Ready Yet

Thursday morning decided I was going to try going into the computer room and get treats with the rest of the cats here. I made it to the door and was a little nervous, so I just staid there. Then when Bob went to give me my treats I chickened out and ran away. He came after me and gave me my treats in the living room and told me it was OK if I wasn't comfortable getting my treats with the others. I am so glad that he doesn't mind bringing my treats to me and giving me pets. It makes me feel special.

Screenshot Meme

I saw the screenshot meme on Millie's blog and thought you all might want to see what Bob's desktop looks like, so I asked him if it would be OK if I showed it to you. I wasn't sure if he would let me because the symbol on it is a personal signet that he designed. He said that if they still used melted wax to seal envelopes, he would have a ring made with this symbol so everyone would know who the letter was from.

How I Got My Name

Queen Munchkin tagged me for Millie's How I got my name meme, so here is my story.

When my original humans abandoned me some of the local out door cats told me about these nice humans, that always put out food for the outside cats, so they would never be hungry. I went to visit them and I saw that they had cats living in their home also. I missed being indoors, away from the rain and such, so I let the Lady; Monika; know I wanted to live inside with her other kitties. She told the man; Bob; and he said; "You mean the skittish one that looks like she has boots on?" Monika said yes and decided that Boots was a good name for me, then she brought me in and locked me in the bathroom, while she and Bob went to work. When she came home she took me to the v-e-t who tol her that aside from a ear infection I was fine.

I chose Dragonheart, Skeezix, and Rascal.

Comforter Tent

When Bob and Monika put the bed back together last week, Bob forget to tuck the end of the comforter back under the mattress. It hangs to the floor so us kitties have been using it as a tent. We also have to use it as a tunnel if we want to get under the bed.

My Morning Treats

This morning I was being hissy, so Monika closed me in the computer room with all the other kitties that were waiting for their treats. A couple of minutes later Bob came in and closed the door behind him, then he gave us all our treats and told me; "See Boots. It's OK to eat treats in here." I knew it was OK to eat them there. I just prefer to be pampered by having them brought to me. After all, according to Frostin, I'm a princess.

Sick Prince

Frostin was still acting out of sorts, and Monika was worried about him, so Bob and her took Frostin to see the v-e-t. They were there a long time and when they came home Bob emptied our food bowls and Monika gave Frostin a dish of stinky goodness with medicine in it, He didn't eat much of it, but Munchkin and Obsidian wolfed it down and they both said it was good. Obsidian liked it so much he smarled at Munchkin when she first came over to try some. They got dry food with the medicine in it too, but they didn't put any in our bowls. Monika said something about starting to feed us at set times every day. All I know is they better not forget we need food or I may have to do something drastic.

Monika Called

Monika is sick and in the hospital, so Bob is here alone with us kitties. I had hoped that Monika's not being here would mean that I didn't have to get my medicine, but Bob proved that theory wrong before he was home an hour.

Monika called this morning and after he was done talking to her he swithed the phone to speaker so that she could talk to Obsidian and me. I sniffed the phone, but I couldn't smell her in it, so I walked away, but Obsidian rubbed against the phone trying to give her cuddles.

Bad Morning

Yesterday morning Bob and Monika starved me, then Monika put me in the travel box and brought me to the V-E-T to get my teeth cleaned. While I was there they shaved a spot on my leg and gave me a catheter. (yuck) Then I had to stay there for hours before Bob finally came to get me, but even then we had to wait for Monika to come before we could go home.

When we finally got home Bob put the box down and opened it for me, and I ran straight for the bedroom and hid under the bed until I remembered it was treat time and I was hungry. Then I came out and waited by the food dish for my treats while happily eating my regular cat food.
